d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce ve medeniyet sahas\u0131 te\u015fkil ediyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130slam toplumlar\u0131 ba\u011flam\u0131nda bu alan\u0131n kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131, \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi ve medeniyeti konulu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar, kurumlar, yay\u0131nlar ile kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131za \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu k\u0131sa yaz\u0131da, bu kurumsal yap\u0131lar\u0131n varl\u0131\u011f\u0131na dair baz\u0131 hususlar\u0131 payla\u015faca\u011f\u0131m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ancak, \u00f6ncelikle \u2018medeniyet\u2019 kavram\u0131n\u0131n M\u00fcsl\u00fcman toplumlarda geli\u015fim evresine k\u0131saca de\u011finmekte yarar var.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kavramla bulu\u015fma<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avrupa\u2019da \u2018medeniyet\u2019 kavram\u0131na tekab\u00fcl eden ve \u00e7ok\u00e7a Frans\u0131zca dilinde kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k bulan \u2018<em>civiliation<\/em>\u2019, \u2018medeni\u2019 \u2018<em>civilized<\/em>\u2019 ve ilintili kullan\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131n, 18. y\u00fczy\u0131la tekab\u00fcl eden bir vechesi bulunuyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu vechenin M\u00fcsl\u00fcman toplumlara sirayetinin Bat\u0131 ile kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fmalar s\u00fcrecinin belirli a\u015famalar\u0131nda zorunlu, g\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fc veya her iki halin bir arada bulundu\u011fu eklektik bir durumla, M\u00fcsl\u00fcman toplumlarda \u2018medeniyet\u2019 kavram\u0131n\u0131n ve i\u00e7eri\u011finin anla\u015f\u0131lmaya, tart\u0131\u015f\u0131lmaya ba\u015fland\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu noktada, \u00f6rne\u011fin 19. y\u00fczy\u0131l erken d\u00f6neminde M\u0131s\u0131r\u2019da ve yine ayn\u0131 d\u00f6nemde, Osmanl\u0131 merkezinde oldu\u011fu gibi, Bat\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesine kendini a\u00e7an M\u00fcsl\u00fcman toplumlardaki e\u011fitim kurumlar\u0131 ve\/ya bir k\u0131s\u0131m geleneksel ulema ile aralar\u0131nda gazeteci, edebiyat\u00e7\u0131 gibi yeni d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcr tiplerinin bulundu\u011fu \u00e7evrelerin, Bat\u0131l\u0131la\u015fma ile modernle\u015fme aras\u0131nda karar ve karars\u0131zl\u0131klar\u0131na tekab\u00fcl eden s\u00fcre\u00e7te, Bat\u0131 medeniyetiyle bulu\u015fmalar\u0131na yol a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fma ve bulu\u015fma Bat\u0131\u2019ya y\u00f6nelme anlam\u0131nda Bat\u0131l\u0131la\u015fma kavram\u0131n\u0131 do\u011fururken, sonraki s\u00fcre\u00e7lerde bu kavram yerini \u00e7ok\u00e7a \u2018\u00e7a\u011fda\u015fla\u015fma\u2019 kavram\u0131na b\u0131rakm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2018Medine\u2019nin do\u011fu\u015fu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19. y\u00fczy\u0131l ba\u011flam\u0131nda, alim, ulema veya yeni d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcr tiplerinin Bat\u0131\u2019da kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131klar\u0131 kavramsalla\u015ft\u0131rmalardan hareketle veya bu kavramsalla\u015ft\u0131rmalara, \u2018\u0130slami\u2019 alternatifler bulma zorunlulu\u011fu ve talebiyle zamanla, \u2018Medine\u2019 yani, Hicaz\u2019daki \u015fehre referanslar\u0131 g\u00fcndeme gelmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Burada, temel vurgunun \u2018dini\u2019 ba\u011flam oldu\u011fu a\u015fik\u00e2r&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ve \u00e7ok\u00e7a, Peygamber d\u00f6nemi veya erken \u0130slamla\u015fma s\u00fcrecinde din\u2019in yani, \u0130slam\u2019\u0131n \u2018medeni\u2019 yani, \u015fehir ve dolay\u0131s\u0131yla geli\u015fmi\u015flik ile ili\u015fkisine gizli\/a\u00e7\u0131k at\u0131fta bulunulur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bir ba\u015fka ifadeyle s\u00f6ylemek gerekirse, din\u2019in medeni bir evrende (<em>space<\/em>), ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131p geli\u015fti\u011fi ve b\u00f6ylece, din\u2019in bir medeniyet olgusu, s\u00fcreci \u00fcretti\u011fine vurgu yap\u0131l\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bunun yan\u0131 s\u0131ra, \u015fehirli kavram\u0131n\u0131 destekleyici ve hatta, \u00e7e\u015fitli a\u00e7\u0131lardan onu a\u015f\u0131c\u0131 bir ba\u015fka kavramsalla\u015ft\u0131rma olarak, zamanla g\u00fcndeme \u2018umran\u2019 kavram\u0131n\u0131n girdi\u011fine tan\u0131k oluruz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>G\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc alternatif alanlar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bununla birlikte, Bat\u0131\u2019da medeniyet (<em>civilization<\/em>) kavram\u0131n\u0131n kullan\u0131m\u0131 ile bu kavram\u0131n pratikte neye tekab\u00fcl etti\u011fine ortaya koyan unsurlar, hi\u00e7 ku\u015fku yok ki, pratik bilim alamlar\u0131n\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131 ve geli\u015fmesine paralel oldu\u011funu s\u00f6ylemek yanl\u0131\u015f olmayacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d6rne\u011fin bu noktada, edebiyat\u0131n, tarihin, g\u00fczel sanatlar\u0131n, arkeolojinin, mimarinin \u00f6nemli rol oynad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ku\u015fku bulunmuyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu alanlar aras\u0131nda diyelim ki, arkeolojinin geli\u015fme g\u00f6steren son alanlardan biri olmas\u0131 belki de, halk\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fu M\u00fcsl\u00fcman olan toplumlar\u0131n bu alana ilgisindeki eksikli\u011fi a\u00e7\u0131klayan maddi bir unsur olarak g\u00fcndeme getirilebilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ancak, bu alan\u0131n, Avrupa d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce ve medeniyetine yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 katk\u0131 dikkate al\u0131nacak olursa, benzer bir s\u00fcrecin halk\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fu M\u00fcsl\u00fcman olan toplumlarda olmamas\u0131 ya da hak etti\u011fi yeri bulmam\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131, -a\u015fa\u011f\u0131l\u0131k kompleksine kap\u0131lmadan s\u00f6ylemek gerekirse- \u00f6nemli bir kay\u0131p anlam\u0131na geliyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bilgi arkeolojisi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Giri\u015f\u2019te dikkat \u00e7ekti\u011fim \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi ve medeniyeti&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu alan\u0131n temelde, bize ilk elden sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 husus, soyut d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ile ilgili olmas\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oysa, \u2018d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce\u2019 ve \u2018medeniyet\u2019 olu\u015fumunun zemininin maddi kaynaklar, geli\u015fmeler, olu\u015fturmas\u0131 bize \u2018d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce\u2019 ve \u2018medeniyet\u2019 sahas\u0131nda konu\u015fabilmemiz i\u00e7in, elimizde \u00f6nemli maddi kaynaklar ve bunlar\u0131n geli\u015fim s\u00fcre\u00e7lerine dair verilerin olmas\u0131n\u0131 gerektiriyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde, halk\u0131n\u0131n kahir ekseriyeti M\u00fcsl\u00fcman olan \u00fclkelerde var olan ve yukar\u0131da dikkat \u00e7ekilen kurumsal yap\u0131la\u015fmalara bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, temel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma alanlar\u0131n\u0131n, bir t\u00fcr \u2018bilgi arkeolojisi\u2019 \u015feklinde tezah\u00fcr etti\u011fini ortaya koyuyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Bilgi arkeolojisi\u2019 ile kast\u0131m, bu ad\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131yan kurumlarda yer alan ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131n, akademisyenlerin -ve de, diyelim ki, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcrlerin- kendilerini, tarihin belirli bir evresinde geli\u015fme g\u00f6stermi\u015f ve ard\u0131ndan, yine tarihin belirli bir evresinde dura\u011fanla\u015fm\u0131\u015f ve\/ya kimi \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclerde ortadan kalk\u0131\u015f bilgi alanlar\u0131na dair verileri g\u00fcncelleme, bu veriler \u00fczerine ele\u015ftirel yakla\u015f\u0131mlar -ya da taklide dayal\u0131 ba\u011flamlar- ile yeni eserler ortaya koymalar\u0131 anlam\u0131na geliyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zemin kayb\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oysa, yaz\u0131n\u0131n giri\u015finde dikkat \u00e7ekti\u011fim unsur yani, \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi medeniyeti \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na do\u011frudan katk\u0131s\u0131 olaca\u011f\u0131na ku\u015fku olmayan ilgili \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmala alanlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6rne\u011fin, etnografi, arkeoloji gibi alanlara y\u00f6nelik ilginin olmamas\u0131, bu alanlara dair saha \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n, ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n, kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmal\u0131 verilerin g\u00fcndeme getirilmemesi, ba\u015fl\u0131 ba\u015f\u0131na bir eksiklik olarak kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131zda duruyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu kurumlar\u0131n amac\u0131 ve kast\u0131, donuk ve bu anlamda soyut veriler ile s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 olmak yerine, M\u00fcsl\u00fcman toplumlar\u0131n ya\u015fam s\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ilgili co\u011frafyalarda ve b\u00f6lgelerde yap\u0131lacak yeni saha \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 ile \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce ve medeniyetinin -ve buna yerel \u0130slami k\u00fclt\u00fcr ba\u011flam\u0131n\u0131 da eklemek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn- daha canl\u0131, dinamik, \u00fcretken bir noktaya evrilmesi m\u00fcmk\u00fcn g\u00f6z\u00fckmektedir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu konuda, olumsuz \u00f6rnekten hareket ederek s\u00f6ylemek gerekirse, \u0130slam teolojisini yorumlayan ekollerden biri olan Vahhabizmin (<em>Wahhabism<\/em>) arkeoloji, mimari ile g\u00fczel sanatlar\u0131n \u00e7e\u015fitli dallar\u0131na y\u00f6nelik ilgisizli\u011fi, kar\u015f\u0131t duru\u015fu, yok edi\u015fe y\u00f6nelik \u00e7abalar\u0131 gibi s\u00fcre\u00e7ler temelde, bu ekol\u00fcn hakim oldu\u011fu M\u00fcsl\u00fcman toplumlarda, \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi ve medeniyeti \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n hangi evrede olabilece\u011fine dair bize bir fikir veriyor olsa gerek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Burada, herhangi bir teolojik tart\u0131\u015fmaya girmedi\u011fimi, sadece derdimi anlatmaya y\u00f6nelik olarak ya\u015fanan, tecr\u00fcbe edilen, g\u00f6zlemlenen makul bir \u00f6rnek sunmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131 belirtmeliyim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vahhabizmin egemen oldu\u011fu M\u00fcsl\u00fcman toplumlar kadar, di\u011fer baz\u0131 toplumlar\u0131n \u201cgizli Vahhabizm\u201d ku\u00e7ak a\u00e7mas\u0131, M\u00fcsl\u00fcman toplumlar\u0131n \u00f6nemli bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde yukar\u0131da dikkat \u00e7ekilen ara\u015ft\u0131rma alanlar\u0131na dair mesafenin ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131na neden oluyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00f6z konusu bu M\u00fcsl\u00fcman toplumlarda, bir yandan \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi ve medeniyeti konusunda cevval tart\u0131\u015fmalar g\u00fcndeme gelirken, bunlar\u0131n bir t\u00fcr tekrarbitekrar akademi duvarlar\u0131na \u00e7arp\u0131p geri d\u00f6nd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcne tan\u0131k oluyoruz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oysa, bu kurumlar\u0131n mensuplar\u0131n\u0131n ya\u015fad\u0131klar\u0131 mek\u00e2nlar\u0131n yan\u0131 ba\u015f\u0131nda onlara bakan, onlara seslenen tarihi ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel mek\u00e2nlar\u0131 tan\u0131ma, anlama, anlam \u00fcretme vb. s\u00fcre\u00e7lere yana\u015fmama konusundaki inadlar\u0131, i\u00e7inde bulunduklar\u0131 \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi ve medeniyeti b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerinin
