Burada uzun uzad\u0131ya, bu iki olgu \u00fczerinde durmak yerine, k\u0131saca \u015funu belirtmekte yarar var.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S\u00f6z konusu bu durum, bizi yine ilgili toplumlarda, \u015fehirle\u015fme s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinin ne \u015fekilde ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131p \u00e7\u0131kmad\u0131\u011f\u0131na ya da ger\u00e7ekte, Bat\u0131 toplumlar\u0131ndakinin t\u0131pk\u0131 ve ayn\u0131s\u0131 \u015feklinde bir \u015fehirle\u015fmenin olup olmamas\u0131 gerekti\u011fi konusunda bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceye ve haliyle bir sorgulamaya iter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bat\u0131\u2019da modernle\u015fme s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinin -t\u0131pk\u0131 di\u011fer kurumsal yap\u0131lar gibi, \u015fehirle\u015fme konusunda da bir t\u00fcr norm olu\u015fturma hedefinde oldu\u011fu g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcr. Ancak bu norm, bizatihi Bat\u0131l\u0131 modernle\u015fmenin dayatmac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 ba\u011flam\u0131nda ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Do\u011fac\u0131 \u015fehirle\u015fme normu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Oysa Do\u011fu\u2019da, \u00f6zellikle Do\u011fu dinlerinin ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrlerinin -ki, buna ekonomik \u00fcretim s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinin sundu\u011fu veya s\u0131n\u0131rland\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 imk\u00e2nlar\u0131 da eklemek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn- do\u011fa ile bar\u0131\u015f\u0131k, do\u011fay\u0131 \u00f6nemseyen ve g\u00fcndelik ya\u015fam\u0131n tam da i\u00e7erisinde ona yer veren ve ondan anlam kazanan ve b\u00f6ylece s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir nitelikte bir ili\u015fkiye zemin haz\u0131rlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tarihsel perspektiften bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, toplum ve do\u011fa ili\u015fkisi ve bu ili\u015fkide belirleyicilik unsuru olarak g\u00fcndeme gelen din-i\/k\u00fclt\u00fcrel yap\u0131lar, k\u0131rsalda oldu\u011fu gibi \u015fehir yerle\u015fimlerinde de etkin bir nitelik arz ederler.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u015eehir, \u00e7oklu toplumlar\u0131n varl\u0131\u011f\u0131 nedeniyle kozmopolit; farkl\u0131 i\u015f kollar\u0131\/\u00fcretim s\u00fcre\u00e7leri ve ya\u015fam alanlar\u0131 ile karma\u015f\u0131k olsa da, t\u00fcm bu ve benzeri s\u00fcre\u00e7lerin \u015fehri do\u011fa\u2019dan ay\u0131ran bir zorlay\u0131c\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 bar\u0131nd\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn de\u011fildir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S\u00f6z konusu bu yakla\u015f\u0131m, Do\u011fu toplumlar\u0131 ve bu toplumlar i\u00e7erisinde kayda de\u011fer bir yeri olan \u00f6rne\u011fin, geni\u015f anlam\u0131yla Malay toplumu ele al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, ak\u0131llar\u0131 Bat\u0131c\u0131l\u0131k ve Bat\u0131l\u0131la\u015fma ile gayet me\u015fgul Ortado\u011fu\u2019daki kimi toplumlardaki yerle\u015fik alg\u0131n\u0131n gayet d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda ve \u00f6tesinde bir yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131n ortaya konmas\u0131n\u0131 gerektirmektedir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu noktada, \u015fehirlerin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00fczerinden ticaret, e\u011fitim, k\u00fclt\u00fcr, ekonomi, mimari, sanat vb. kurumlar\u0131n geli\u015fmi\u015fli\u011fine vurgu yap\u0131lmakla birlikte, bu unsurlar\u0131n Bat\u0131l\u0131 anlamda \u015fehir kavram\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k gelmeyen yerle\u015fimlerde de, kendine gayet \u00f6nemli bir yer bulabildi\u011fini ve ilgili toplumlara anlam kazand\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemek gerekir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Modernle\u015fmeci il\u00fczyonu a\u015fmak <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asl\u0131nda, insan toplumlar\u0131n\u0131n dini, k\u00fclt\u00fcrel, teknolojik ve entellekt\u00fcel geli\u015fimleri, \u00e7e\u015fitli ara\u00e7lar vas\u0131tas\u0131yla \u00e7e\u015fitli \u00fcr\u00fcnler olarak toplum ya\u015fam\u0131na aktar\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 bize g\u00f6sterirken, bu aktar\u0131m\u0131n sadece, Bat\u0131l\u0131 anlamda \u015fehir yap\u0131la\u015fmalar\u0131yla s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 oldu\u011fu y\u00f6n\u00fcndeki yakla\u015f\u0131m olsa olsa, salt bir ill\u00fczyondan ibarettir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bunun kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 gayet genellemeci olsa da, Do\u011fu toplumlar\u0131nda ve i\u00e7inde ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z Malay toplumlar\u0131nda g\u00f6zlemlemek ve tan\u0131k olmak m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu yakla\u015f\u0131mla s\u00f6ylemek istedi\u011fimiz, Malay k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve medeniyet yap\u0131la\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131n Bat\u0131l\u0131 anlamda \u00f6zellikle de, modernle\u015fme s\u00fcre\u00e7lerindeki \u015fehirle\u015fmenin temel unsurlar\u0131yla birebir \u00f6rt\u00fc\u015fmeyen aksine, kendine \u00f6zg\u00fc karakteristikleri b\u00fcnyesinde bar\u0131nd\u0131ran bir yap\u0131s\u0131 oldu\u011funu ifade etmek gerekir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Bir g\u00f6sterge olarak Kuala Lumpur <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu \u00e7er\u00e7evede, bir \u00f6rnek \u00fczerinden -diyelim ki, Malezya\u2019n\u0131n ba\u015fkenti Kuala Lumpur ba\u011flam\u0131nda- konuyu daha da a\u00e7\u0131klay\u0131c\u0131 hale getirmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kuala Lumpur, 19. y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n ikinci yar\u0131s\u0131ndan itibaren (1880) geli\u015fme kaydeden bir \u015fehir olmu\u015ftur.
