S\u00f6z konusu bu \u201c\u00fcst\u00fcnl\u00fck kompleksini\u201d sergileyenlerin g\u00f6rmekte zorland\u0131klar\u0131 husus, tarihin bir ba\u015fka boyutunda ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015f ve s\u00f6m\u00fcrgeci g\u00fc\u00e7 olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan yap\u0131n\u0131n, kas\u0131t d\u0131\u015f\u0131 da olsa \u201ci\u00e7erden devam\u0131\u201d mahiyetinde olmas\u0131 gibi bir tehlikeyi i\u00e7inde bar\u0131nd\u0131r\u0131yor. \u0130\u015fte bu nedenledir ki, d\u0131\u015farl\u0131kl\u0131lar\u0131n A\u00e7e \u0130slam\u0131n\u0131 anlama \u00e7abas\u0131, yeni bir d\u00f6neme ayak basan A\u00e7e\u2019nin kimlik tetkiki, yenilenmesi ve canlanmas\u0131 s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinde ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmaz bir \u00f6neme sahiptir. Bu yakla\u015f\u0131m, bir yandan A\u00e7e halk\u0131n\u0131n kendini yeniden kavrama, anlama ve anlamland\u0131rma s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinin geli\u015fmesine arac\u0131l\u0131k ederken, hegemonik ve \u00fcst\u00fcnl\u00fck kompleksi ile maruf \u201cmerkez g\u00fc\u00e7lerin\u201d de A\u00e7e\u2019yle ilintisi dolay\u0131m\u0131nda kendi tarihlerini yeniden ve farkl\u0131 bir okumaya tabi tutmalar\u0131na yol a\u00e7abilece\u011fi gibi, bug\u00fcnk\u00fc duru\u015flar\u0131n\u0131 da analiz ve tetkik mecburiyetine sevk edecektir. Ancak zaman zaman sahada kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z gizli veya a\u00e7\u0131k kimi g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcmler A\u00e7e \u0130slam\u0131\u2019n\u0131n dinamikleri konusunda durmaks\u0131z\u0131n yazmay\u0131 ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmaz k\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Bununla neyi kastediyoruz? Temelde i\u015fin kayna\u011f\u0131nda yer alan merkez ile \u00e7evre ili\u015fkisi boyutu kadar, merkezde yer alma iddias\u0131ndaki olu\u015fumlar\u0131n, bizatihi merkezdeki \u201c\u00e7at\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131\u201d \u00e7epere ta\u015f\u0131ma ve \u00e7eperi kendilerine mevzi k\u0131lma gayretleri ile ba\u011flant\u0131s\u0131 es ge\u00e7ilemez. Merkez-\u00e7evre ili\u015fkisi ile, Ortado\u011fu \u0130slam\u0131 genelinde T\u00fcrk-\u0130slam\u0131 eksenli tarih perspektifinin modern d\u00f6neme sarkan bi\u00e7imleni\u015flerini kastetti\u011fimiz biliniyor. Tarihte Osmanl\u0131 Devleti \u00f6zelinde do\u011fu veya bu yaz\u0131ya konu olan co\u011frafya ekseninde d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcrsek G\u00fcneydo\u011fu Asya ve onun ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmaz \u2018damar\u0131\u2019 A\u00e7e\u2019yle ili\u015fkilerde hangi saiklerden hareket edildi\u011fi ve ne gibi sonu\u00e7lar elde edildi\u011fi ile ilintilidir. D\u00fcne dair ele\u015ftirel yakla\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n k\u00f6keninde, at\u0131fta bulunulan kaynaklar\u0131n s\u00f6yleme d\u00f6k\u00fcl\u00fc\u015f bi\u00e7imi \u201cmerkez\u201d hegemonyas\u0131n\u0131n dayat\u0131lmas\u0131 gibi bir surete b\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcrken, do\u011funun sadece \u0130slam anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131 de\u011fil, siyasi, ekonomik ve genelde medeniyet olu\u015fumu ve bunun \u0130slam medeniyeti ile kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmal\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na yer verilmemesini kan\u0131t olarak g\u00f6stermek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn. Yaz\u0131n\u0131n ana konusu olarak dikkat \u00e7ekti\u011fimiz yukar\u0131daki husus, yani bug\u00fcn kendilerini T\u00fcrk\u00fc temsil makam\u0131nda oldu\u011fu iddias\u0131ndaki olu\u015fumlar\u0131n do\u011fu\u2019daki varl\u0131klar\u0131, ge\u00e7mi\u015fin \u201cnegatif y\u00fck\u00fcn\u00fc\u201d ta\u015f\u0131maya aday oldu\u011fu intiba\u0131n\u0131, salt duru\u015f olarak de\u011fil, \u00e7e\u015fitli somut \u00f6rnekleri ile ortaya koymaktad\u0131r. \u0130\u015fte bu duru\u015fun sorunlu bir yap\u0131 olu\u015fturdu\u011fu, sadece ge\u00e7mi\u015fteki \u201chatalar\u0131n\u201d veya ge\u00e7mi\u015fi anlama ve yorumlamadaki \u201chatalar\u0131n\u201d tekrar\u0131 mahiyeti ta\u015f\u0131mad\u0131\u011f\u0131, ayn\u0131 zamanda, do\u011funun tarih ve medeniyet birikiminin bug\u00fcne ta\u015f\u0131nmas\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcn\u00fc kesmek gibi kay\u0131ts\u0131z kal\u0131namayacak bir \u2018yuvalanmaya\u2019 ve \u2018yuvarlanmaya\u2019 neden oldu\u011funa dikkat \u00e7ekilmelidir. Bug\u00fcne kadar, Bat\u0131l\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131n \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131karmay\u0131 tercih ettikleri paradigma \u201ct\u00fcccarlar\u201d eliyle \u0130slam\u2019\u0131n b\u00f6lgeye dolay\u0131s\u0131yla da A\u00e7e\u2019de v\u00fccud buldu\u011fu y\u00f6n\u00fcndedir. Ancak burada durup d\u00fcn\u00fc\u015f\u00fclmesi gerekti\u011fini hat\u0131rlatan Naqib Al-Attas\u2019a kulak vermekte fayda var. Bu uzun s\u00fcrecin her bir basama\u011f\u0131n\u0131 te\u015fkil eden geli\u015fmeler muvacehesinde \u015fehir devletleri \u015feklinde tezah\u00fcr eden siyasi yap\u0131lanmalar\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra, ortaya konulan sadece \u0130slami de\u011fil, edebi ve kimi fen bilimlerine dair eserlerin olu\u015fturdu\u011fu entellekt\u00fcel k\u00fclliyata dikkat \u00e7ekiyoruz. Bug\u00fcn\u00fcn bilim \u00e7evrelerinin ilgisini bekleyen ve herbiri farkl\u0131 y\u00f6nelimlerle ele al\u0131nmay\u0131 hak eden bu eserlerin dikkatlere sunulmas\u0131 sadece b\u00f6lge halk\u0131n\u0131n de\u011fil, daha \u00e7ok da kendini \u201cmerkez g\u00fc\u00e7\u201d olarak tan\u0131mlayan unsurlar\u0131n sorumlulu\u011fundad\u0131r. Bu sorumluluk, k\u00fcresel boyutta, \u0130slam k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve medeniyet havzalar\u0131n\u0131n neye tekab\u00fcl etti\u011fini kendine sorun edinen ki\u015fi ve kurumlara d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcyor. Peki pratikte b\u00f6yle bir \u00e7aba var m\u0131? Dahas\u0131, b\u00f6yle bir \u00e7aba sergileme taraftar\u0131 olma a\u015famas\u0131na gelmeden, do\u011fu\u2019nun b\u00f6ylesi bir k\u00fclliat\u0131 oldu\u011fundan haberdarl\u0131k s\u00f6z konusu mu?
