Bir hedefe ula\u015fmak i\u00e7in \u2018\u015feytanla\u2019 yap\u0131lan anla\u015fma veya bir ba\u015fka deyi\u015fle \u015feytana ruhunu satma denilebilecek \u2018Pegusihan\u2019 anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131 bir mitolojik \u00f6ge olmakla ge\u00e7mi\u015fe ba\u011flan\u0131rken, bug\u00fcn dahi prati\u011fe d\u00f6k\u00fclmesiyle varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcyor. Endonezya sinema tarihi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan bu sessiz filmi ayr\u0131cal\u0131kl\u0131 ve bir ilk k\u0131lan ise, geni\u015f\u00e7e sahne \u00fczerinde yer alan canl\u0131 bir orkestran\u0131n e\u015flik etmesiydi. Bu siyah-beyaz sessiz filmle Ada\u2019n\u0131n kadim dini-k\u00fclt\u00fcrel yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 farkl\u0131 bir boyutta izleme imk\u00e2n\u0131 bulurken, sessizli\u011fi \u2018bozan\u2019 ise geni\u015f\u00e7e sahneyi kaplayan Orta Cava\u2019n\u0131n geleneksel m\u00fczik enstr\u00fcmanlar\u0131 e\u015fli\u011finde e\u015fsiz bir ziyafet veren orkestra oldu. Yayg\u0131n ad\u0131yla \u2018gamelan\u2019 olarak bilinen enstr\u00fcmanlar misti\u011f yo\u011funlu\u011fu art\u0131r\u0131rken, perdede akan hik\u00e2yeyi seyircilere aktaran ise ikisi erkek \u00fc\u00e7 bayan hik\u00e2ye anlat\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131yd\u0131. Tabii \u2018hik\u00e2ye anlat\u0131c\u0131s\u0131\u2019 derken burada yeksen\u00e2k bir konu\u015fma de\u011fil, aksine -bir benzetme yapmak gerekirse- tastamam opera sanat\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131 anla\u015f\u0131lmal\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7al\u0131\u015fma 1992 y\u0131l\u0131ndan bu yana faaliyet g\u00f6steren ve son derece zengin Endonezya k\u00fclt\u00fcr de\u011ferlerini yeni nesle ve d\u00fcnya kamuoyuna aktarmay\u0131 hedefleyen Bakti Budaya Djarum Foundation\u2019\u0131n katk\u0131lar\u0131yla haz\u0131rlanm\u0131\u015f. Bu anlamda Cava \u015eeytan\u0131, aralar\u0131nda Endonezyal\u0131 ve Avustralyal\u0131 akademisyenlerin, ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131n, yerel-geleneksel etnik sanat\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131n,\u00a0 da yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 geni\u015f bir kadronun el birli\u011finin \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc. Filmin y\u00f6netmesi ise, Endonezya film sekt\u00f6r\u00fcne 35 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131 vermi\u015f ve halen gen\u00e7 ve dinamik olan Garin Nugroho. Y\u00f6netmen Garin, gerek konu\u015fmas\u0131nda gerek kaleme ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 tan\u0131t\u0131m yaz\u0131s\u0131nda Cogcakarta\u2019da do\u011fup b\u00fcy\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f biri olarak bu b\u00f6lgenin zengin mitolojik de\u011ferleri ve m\u00fczi\u011fiyle hem hal olurken, bu sessiz film ve \u2018\u015eeytan\u2019 \u00f6rne\u011finde oldu\u011fu gibi Bat\u0131\u2019da \u00fcretilen \u2018Nosferatu\u2019 ve \u2018Metropolis\u2019e at\u0131f yapmaktan da geri kalm\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p>Film, bir k\u00f6yde orman \u00fcr\u00fcnleriyle ge\u00e7imini sa\u011flayan gen\u00e7 bir erke\u011fin soylu bir k\u0131za a\u015fk\u0131n\u0131 konu ediniyor.
